Re: RPI at Clarkson, 2/19
We will play better tonight-it is a Saturday. Hopefully Clarkson will not play better. This is now the definition of a must win game. We have got to get back to sound defensive hockey-allowing 5 goals is just not our style. Let's Go Red!Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor

Re: RPI at Clarkson, 2/19
We cannot win if Josh Rabbani is our best player. And he has been our best player for two weeks now.
The top line looks tired. I was at the Colgate game and that is the first thing that I noticed. They are our of sync and they are not as hard to play against as they were earlier in the season.
I don't know what can be done to fix this, certainly we should be vying for one of the top spots in this league. However, the last two weeks, we look like we will be lucky to finish in the middle of the pack.
Time to show what we are made of.Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Re: RPI at Clarkson, 2/19
Take good notes guys-I will miss the early part of the game for sure and posibly the entire game-will be off actually working for a change-got called to do a medical consult this evening. Would do some nice things for the RPI psyche to score early and get a nice lead. No team is easy in this league and the road is a tough place to win for us. Go Red!Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor

On the other hand, as Union found out last night when 3-0 suddenly turned into 3-3, scoring early doesn't allow you the privilege of relaxing later.
It's certainly been said often enough, but it might as well be said again. Our guys need to be on their game for a full 60 minutes tonight.

Re: RPI at Clarkson, 2/19
Women trail SLU 2-1 after 2. RPI was awarded a penalty shot when Castignetti was hooked down on a breakaway; Coach Burke elected to take the 2-min minor instead, and it proved to be a wasted opportunity as the refs evened it up 30 sec later when a SLU skater took a dive behind the RPI net.
