I guess I'm not all that surprised, either, but after the way Weninger played down in New Haven . . .

    We'll see.

Bit the bullet and bought the B2 feed for the game... hope it ends up being worth it.

        SLU GOAL!

Austin with a shot from the point, deflected in front.

Sean Flanagan from Austin and Keller.

        1-0 SLU early!

SLU's playing well, but Ylae is still getting in the offensive zone with speed and space. They are good.

Starting to look like the 2nd period at Ylae. SLU has the puck with time in their own end, but for some reason they get tentative and don't clear the puck.

                  ESSERY ON THE PP!

                  2-0 SLU.

Couple chances stopped, but then Essery picks up the garbage on a P. Raley shot.

Er, Pitsi from Raley. Radio guys had it wrong.

SLU is now 6 out of their last 9 on the PP.

Something I've noticed from the game down in CT a few weeks ago is SLU is getting the puck out of the defensive zone much better tonight.

Logue with a boarding call late in the 1st. 2.9 seconds left. Not 100% sure I agree with boarding, but he did leave his feet, so probably should have been charging.

                            2-0 SLU, end 1.

Yeah, although there were two or three shifts where they couldn't.

I thought that was a bad call on Logue. It was high - I thought he might call an elbow - but I did not think it was boarding. Either way, he didn't need to finish the check that way, and now they need to kill it.
