Top 5 will probably be (in no particular order) Michigan, NoDak, Minny, Sconnie, and Denver.

Colgate winds up at #27. The (Red) Raiders have made 4 trips to the NCAA tournament, including their memorable run in 1990, advancing all the way to the National Championship. Colgate has been back to the NCAA Tournament twice since, but were unable to advance to the Frozen Four. Colgate has been relatively average over the last few years, and have not won 20+ games since their '05-'06 campaign. Colgate will need to find the winning touch in the future to maintain or improve upon their position in this list. For now, they sit at #27.

        #27 Colgate - 27.7915 Points
        #28 Northeastern - 24.5696 Points

Based on the numbers I posted below, I wouldn't be surprised if BU is ahead of both Wisconsin and Denver. BC could slip into the top 5 since they're ahead of both of them in every category except titles.

Michigan, Michigan State, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Denver, Colorado College Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Boston College, Boston University, Maine, Cornell, RPI are the schools who have won multiple national titles, so they are likely to be the top 14 (i would guess?...not in that order of course) I wonder who the other team will be who fills out the top 15, if it will be one of the 1 title teams (NMU, BG, or Harvard) or if it will go to a team who has yet to win a title but who has been to the tournament numerous times with multiple extended runs...

Since it's clear that many seem to read this thread well into it, a simple thing....

If you don't like the ranking, make your own.

Unless you are not paying attention to see that this is ONE PERSON'S WORK. (and a LOT of it, at that).
Also, this is ALL-TIME, not last 10 years, or 5, or this years's PWR ranking.

Just thinking about it- FS23 has done a TON of research, and thought about it. So if you don't like it, you can do it, too. It's just as meaningful to the world as mid season Polls voted by Poles.

I personally find it quite interesting. Especially knowing who did it.

                  There- no more about that.

                    To the ranking-

As I've posted before, it will be interesting to see how this plays out, based on how it appears to be calculated. And the formula will be quite interesting to read and figure out.

My gut is UM will be #1, thanks to 9 + some long term consistency.

DU vs. UND- my gut says that DU's SOS won't be as good as UND's, so UND will be 2. And the SOS issue is about who would play DU in the 60's. That's my gut, and I'm looking forward to how it comes out.

                    Remember low = 0.0016, mean = 18, average = 82. Talk about top heavy.

(not that it's that much of a suprise, when you see the banners every year.)

Yale comes in at #26. The Bulldogs have been very impressive of late, posting back to back 20+ win seasons, both of which included trips to the NCAA Tournament. Yale is also having quite an impressive run this year. Given that, Yale's signature achievement to date is their 1952 Frozen Four appearance. They went another 46 years before making the tournament in '98, and then another decade to make their third appearance. Given their run so far this year, and their potential to make another Frozen Four or even a National Championship, Yale could certainly be moving up in this list. For now, they sit at #26.

                      #26 Yale - 29.1241 Points
                      #27 Colgate - 27.7915 Points

No worries. I knew going into this that it's impossible to please everyone, and that I'd get flack. I anticipate there will be more the closer we get to the end.
