    And begin.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.

The Gophers will look pretty good one night, and relatively "meh" on the other. They have made it tough to decide which night will be which lately, which is a little annoying.

The Gophers went 4-6 on Friday nights, 3-2-2 on Saturdays, and 2-0-1 on Sundays in the first half. In the second half so far they're 2-0 on Fridays and 0-2 on Saturdays. Take your pick. Conclusion: playing all their games on Sundays is probably the answer to the Gopher's inconsistency problem.

Gophers sweep. tUMD has never been and never will be any good at hockey. They should stick to what they know, beer and snow.

Huh, Brent stated the opponents correctly (visiting team first @ home team), I didn't think he knew how to do that.

Dogs celebrate their new barn with a sweep of the hapless Gophers. It would be nice if the Gophs could get the inaugural win there like they did at the Ralph (complete with fireworks!), but I don't see it happening this time.

I realize you think the world revolves around the Gophers and their games are the only ones that count, but three games have been played at AMSoil. Thus it is impossible for the Gophers to get the inaugural win there.

Gophers sweep with two moral victories just like last weekend.

They can certainly take an inaugural dump at center ice there.

I can't tell if Minnesota fans are sandbagging or serious...

                      Bulldogs barely sweep:
                      3-2 (OT), 2-1
                      University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs

                      WCHA Tournament Champions: 1984, 1985, 2009

There was much sandbagging when these two teams met in the first half of the season. I will let the sandbagging begin again this time. I see the Gophers scoring MAYBE one goal this weekend. I wouldn't be suprised if they get shutout both nights. tUMD will probably score a combined 10+ goals on the weekend. 4-0 Friday and 7-1 Saturday. What? It worked last time they played.
"It ain't over, baby! And that took only six seconds!"

USCHO gives me another reason to not do work while I am at work.

                          Are you saying it doesn't?

Are you trying to say that other team's games count?

On Friday night Justin Fontaine gets called for shooting the puck after the whistle for the third time this year. Ciskie accuses the refs of another case of Gopher bias and snaps. He starts by attacking Glen Sonmor, breaking Sonmor's leg and using the shattered fibula to stab Wally in the throat. He then turns his scorn on Bob Nygard. Bob attempts to run for cover, but it's too late. Ciskie is all over him, as he uses his headset to choke out Nygard. Kevin Pates attempts to calm Bruce down, but it does no good. Ciskie runs the length of the press box and delivers a devastating dropkick to the solar plexus, rupturing Pates' spleen. Roman Augustoviz attempts to waddle to cover, but his pants being nearly on the ground inhibits him greatly and Ciskie runs him down. Bruce rips off Roman's scraggly hobo beard and forces him to eat it. Bruce then attacks Anthony LaPanta, smashing his head into the table repeatedly and shoving complimentary hot dogs down his throat. Having cleared out the pressbox, Ciskie turns his attention to Gopher fans in the stands. His first target is FireHelmetGuy. Ciskie rips FHG's helmet off his head and smashes him across the face. FHG goes down like three tons of bricks, but being 37 sheets into the wind, doesn't feel a thing. Ciskie then taunts Cardinal for a number of minutes for working for the Vikings before using FHG's to knock him out. Out of the corner of his eye, Ciskie spots BulldogSniper and confronts him. BulldogSniper pleads with Ciskie but it is to no avail. Ciskie just viciously beats BulldogSnipers. Mothers are covering eyes and children are crying. It is just a bloodbath. By now, the game has been halted. Everyone in the arena is horrified. All except one. In a completely silent arena, RunninWithDogs starts laughing and cheering uncontrollably. This only serves to anger Ciskie. He chases her down, yelling obscenities and blaming her purchase of Dylan Olsen's jersey as the reason Olsen left UMD. When Ciskie catches her, he pushes her down the stairs. All appears lost as no one can seem to stop the rampage of UMD radio announcer Bruce Ciskie.

But then a mysterious superhero-like figure draped in maroon and gold using a Gopher Flag as his cape appears in the Zamboni entrance. Ciskie spots him and goes on the attack. But this mystery figure is not so easy to destroy. Bruce punches and it is blocked, Bruce kicks and it is sidestepped, Bruce attempts a titty-twister and it is reversed. No matter what Bruce attempts, they are easily countered by the mystery figure. Finally Ciskie is worn down from all of his rage and the super hero subdues Bruce, thus bringing an end to the Amsoil Annihilation. Everyone is relieved but the question remains, who was that masked man? Before that question can be answered though, all the UMD cheerleaders run up to the masked figure and inundate him with kisses. Bruce's son is heard to yell "MAN!!! Lucky!!!" With his reward for saving the arena established, the mystery figure slowly removes his mask to unveil none other than Doug Woog. In appreciation for his efforts Doug is restored as the color commentator for Gopher games and everyone live happily ever after.
