Big weekend for our Red. Home games, where we have played so well this season. And with O'Grady, who played last Saturday, and Higgs, who is coming back tonight, we're getting deeper as the second half of the regular season begins.

      GO, CHERRY & WHITE!
      Here we come!

I will be at this one, so no notes from me. Reminders to the Section 33 and 44 crowd will be provided concerning appropriate actions regarding a certain Harvard player. I don't want to name names, but the jersey has a 2 and 8 on it.

No excuses for this one-we have to score early, add to the lead and play solid defense. We just cannot afford to allow Harvard to hang with us. We had lots of chances against them before and got burned late. We cannot even allow this to be close. The run for the playoffs starts tonight. Show us what you got Red!!!

with the hopes that RHamilton can help with this; with no band this weekend, is it possible to get the Alma Mater & Fight song played tonight by the "sound guy"? I know, I know....here's a thought, perhaps something could be done (for next year) with the new video scoreboard, film the Band while playing the Alma Mater song (between 2nd & 3rd period) and play it on the scoreboard when the Band is unable to attend the game(s)
Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Perhaps with the video board things will change, but in prior years I've attempted to get the sound guy to at least play the fight song for goals when the band isn't there and have been met with blank stares and a complete lack of enthusiasm. I went so far a season or two ago to bring the songs in on a CD clearly labeled "TRACK 1 - FIGHT SONG, TRACK 2 - ALMA MATER" and watched him throw it aside after I walked away.

Is the sound guy a student? If so, he should know better. If not, someone (are you listening Mr. Knowlton) should set him/her straight.

Given I've heard AIM sounds over the speakers at the games, I would assume it is a student.

I don't see anyone on the roster with the jersey number of 82.

I was thought of mentioning that in the thread title but decided against it.

I was worried that, if you couldn't make it back, the Harvard fans might go an entire season without seeing the renowned Ralph Baer Exploding Message Board Extravaganza to salute an RPI goal.

Of course, the Harvard fans still might not see it unless our guys are more effective at putting the puck in the net tonight than they were the last time these two teams played.
