When you read the headline you hope that it isn't the worst case...glad to hear that he is relatively fortunate despite the terrible injury. Thank goodness for the increases in education and technology regarding neck injuries...best wishes for a positive prognosis and a speedy return to good health.
I believe in life, and I believe in love, but the world in which I live in keeps trying to prove me wrong.
Thoughts & prayers for the young man for a full and speedy recovery. As a parent of a player, additional prayers for his parents & family as this is a parent's nightmare...may you all find the strength to persevere through the tough times ahead.
Please add my prayers and best wishes to Jesse as well. Here's hoping for a fast and full recovery.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.
I am sick to my stomach about this. I am hoping this thread will also provide news and updates about his progress. So if anyone gets first hand and reliable information, maybe this could be the place to read about it.

Best wishes, Jesse, from the northern Michigan branch of the Pio's fan club. I live in the hometown of Miami OH's Will Weber and am close to Will and family, so we are already dealing with recent tough on-ice injuries and yours adds to our concerns. Our thoughts are with you for a quick and full recovery--you mean a lot to our sport and the DU program! Hope we see you in the FF--and before!
