My understanding was 10 years, but I haven't seen the press release yet.

You can complain all you want, but as a property tax payer in the City of Bemidji, and when the facility was estimated to lose northwards of $300,000 a year, I'm thrilled that $200,000 a year comes off the top courtesy of Sanford Health...

Saw that coming. Sanford has been increasing its presence since about 2008. They were in negotiations for naming rights for the new Gopher's stadium. They also donated $10 million to NDSU to help remodel and for naming rights to the basketball arena. They'll also soon, or already have, donate money to UND.

Good deal for the city and the arena. $200,000 to help offset operating costs that could push $300,000 the first few years, that takes a big bite out of what the arena/city have to come up with.
