  • Quinnipiac Women's Hockey Report 10/16/10

This years womens team at QU is outstanding. With solid goaltending in net with Victoria Vigilanti as well as high scoring from freshman fowards, most notably Kelly Babstock and Erica Uden Johanssen, the lady Bobcats look for a high spot in the conference. It is no suprise that this team so far is 5-0-0 with Vigilanti already having three shutouts and looking to comtinued dominance with shot blocking and upbeat, often scoring offense. It should be scary for opponents of this QU team that two fowards got hat tricks in back to back games from freshman Uden Johanssen and sophomore regan boulton respectively. it only goes to show that this women's team is not afraid to score and go for the throat early on in games, as they have proven time and time again that they can hold leads and shut down other teamsn or turn it up when they feel like it. It always seems that this team contorls the ice whenever or wherever they play and make it look easy. With no conference games in the books yet, this team cannot get ahead of itself and just continue to play their game and keep their winning ways going.

PS. Listen to all the mens and womens ice hockey games, as well as other sports on the QBSN (Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network) at www.theqbsn.com with live pregame, play by play, and postgame as well as interviews from players and coaches!!!

not vigi's best game today. 4 goals against on 12 shots with time to go in the 2nd period.

safe to say it's been her worst college hockey game ever.

Your post jinxed it. Nary hours later they lost their first game (see the 5:11pm post). Maybe Coach Seeley will be looking for you
