    In the USHL last night:
Mike Conderman was a +1 for Muskegon last night, in their 6-0 win over Sioux City.

Colton Saucerman got his first point of the year, getting an assist in Dubuque's 7-4 win over his previous team Des Moines.

Bill Eiserman was a -2 for Tri City in their 3-2 OT loss to Omaha.

In the OPJHL, Scott Wilson had 5 assists and was named the second star in Georgetown's win over Huntsville. Wilson currently has a 7-19-26 line in 13 games.

In the BCHL, Tyler Brickler had a goal and an assist as Westside beat Coquitlam.

Tyler Brickler had a goal and an assist in the BCHL for the Westside Warriors last night, in their win. Scott Wilson had a goal for Georgetown (OPJHL) and was listed as the third star last night in their win.

In the USHL, Colton Saucerman had no points but was a +1 in Dubuque's win. Bill Eiserman had the only assist on the game winning goal in Tri City's win.

No UML recruits were listed in the NHL's Central Scouting release.

UML recruit Scott Wilson has been named to the Team Canada East roster for the 2010 World Junior A Challenge, which will be taking place in 2 weeks. His teammate (and someone I hope Lowell somehow gets) Evan Rodrigues has also been named to the 22 man roster.

It's pretty quiet on the UML recruiting front with 5/6 players all ready coming in for next season. Lots of activity for Merrimack as they received their sixth commitment (Kyle Singleton) for the month of October. Five of the six are out of the BCHL.

IIRC, it's 5 for 2011, and 2 (Wilson and the younger Eiserman for 2012).

I know that Merrimack's recruiting has really picked up.

My honest opinion is that Lowell has 2/3 more offers out there for 2011 (hoping Rodrigues is one! ) and will wait on anything else till they see how this year's freshmen wind up doing.

Bringing this from the last thread into this so it's easier to find the info.

              Defense (9):
              Senior: Tim Corcoran
              Juniors: Chris Ickert, Colin Wright
Sophomores: Rob Badger, Daniel Furlong, Will Rayner, Chad Ruhwedel
              Freshmen: William Eiserman, Colton Saucerman

              Forwards (15):
Seniors: Michael Budd, Matt Ferreira, Michael Scheu, David Vallorani,
              Juniors: Joe Caveney, Riley Wetmore
Sophomores: Derek Arnold, Tyler Brickler, Nick Curry, Josh Holmstrom, Derek McCoy, Joe Pendanza, Shayne Thompson
              Freshmen: Mike Conderman, Terrence Wallin

              Goalies (3):
              Junior: T.J. Massie
              Sophomores: Marc Boulanger, Doug Carr

So at this point, that leaves us at 27 on the roster. Have to figure the coaching staff is back out on the recruiting trail at this point (if they weren't already), needing a couple of players.

              The class breakdown in 2011:
              Seniors: 5
              Juniors: 5
              Sophomores: 13
              Freshmen: 4

And as of right now, we have 2 commits for 2012 (I believe Wilson will come in then), so we have 24 on the roster for the 2012/2013 season, assuming all of the above come back which I think is doubtful.

For what it's worth, if you bring in 2 more for 2011, that will give you 6 freshmen that year, and add 4 more for 2012, you'll be happily on the way to evening out the classes.

A small blurb about Wilson representing Team Canada East later this month from the OPJHL site.

Also, Mike Conderman scored his first in the USHL, in Muskegon's 7-1 loss this past weekend.

Speaking of Rodrigues, International Scouting Services selected him as a player to watch in the WJAC tournament.
Evan Rodrigues: reliable forward ... great hands ... tremendous speed ... can score from almost anywhere ... very good shot ... reads the play well ... attacks hard ... unselfish player ... great on-ice vision ... not afraid to play in the corners ... tremendous offensive skills.

The activity continues for Merrimack, two more recruits (Defensemen) in the past two days.

Recruit Mike Conderman was expected to sign a National Letter of Intent last night in Muskegon. The early signing period runs from November 10, 2010 to November 17, 2010.

The Corpus Christi IceRays (NAHL) acquired recruit Colton Saucerman from the Dubuque Fighting Saints (USHL). Colton had an assist and was a -2 in his first game with the IceRays. I wonder what happen in Dubuque, coach Jim Montgomery was so excited to acquire him just a couple of months ago.

According to USHR, Terrence Wallin and Gunnery will begin play on 11/21/10 with a scrimmage against Cushing.

His third team already ... that's never a good sign.

It would have been nice to stay in the USHL too.

Scott Wilson had an assist (on his Georgetown teammate Evan Rodrigues' goal) in Team Canada East's 4-3 Quarterfinal win last night over Russia. He has a 1-3-4 in the 3 games they've played so far. Team Canada East plays Switzerland in the semifinals tomorrow, while Team Canada West plays the US.

Scott Wilson had two goals in the World Junior A Challenge Championship Game last night, but Canada East blew a 3-1 lead and lost to the US 6-4. Wilson finished tied for second in scoring in the tournament (but did play one game more than most teams) with a 3-3-6 in 5 games. His teammate Evan Rodrigues was listed on the All-Tournament team, finished tied for the most points in the tournament with a 3-4-7 in 5.

Wilson was named the Canada East Player of the Game for his two goal performance. The US' Player of the Game was Jimmy Mullin, who'll be heading to Miami (OH).
