RPI Class of 2012
Visit rpitv.org to watch almost every RPI Hockey home game LIVE, as well as a huge collection of on demand games from this season and seasons past, all for FREE!
We'll see how the "ringers" do against the RPI folk
And, as I state in the beginning, both of you are welcome to come back and play throughout the season. I think it'd be great to see some foreigners beat a couple RPI fans at their own game.
And and, "Brut" will likely be scored as a forward, Freddy. Every player will be scored as whatever position he starts the game, and Brut finished last season as a forward and has been practicing a forward so far this off-season. (As usual, the roster itself is a little slow in being updated.) Just letting you know in case you were looking for those couple extra points from him being a defenseman.
For those curious, we're up to 14 prognosticators.
Go Red!!
National Champions: 1954, 1985, 201x
Houston Field House, Cheel Arena, Agganis Arena, Magness Arena, Ritter Arena, Messa Rink, Matthews Arena, Von Braun Center, Lynah Rink, Starr Rink, Appleton Arena, Dwyer Arena, Buffalo State Ice Arena, Kelley Rink (also Verizon Center (DC), HerbBrooksArena, Fenway Park (Frozen Fenway I), Times Union Center, DCU Center, Blue Cross Arena)
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.
Gary Player
We're now up to 19 posters (apparently I had difficulty counting on Friday) for this exhibition, with 8 different RPI players selected and 10 different UNB skaters chosen.
UNB is coming into the fieldhouse looking to finish off a 3-game sweep of NCAA teams.
And, an extra reminder that RPI will be starting their series against Colorado College on Friday, so it will be a quick turnaround between "weeks".

Congratulations to those posters who picked Culligan or Clendenning. Each scored a goal and tallied you two points.
EHF was the only poster to correctly pick Helfrich as a point producer for RPI tonight (Polacek and Bergin were both ineligible due to their contributions last season).

But, since this was an exhibition, everyone's score is reset to 0. I think the scoring is pretty fair (IMHO). The only thing I would consider adding would be some kind of reduction in points for penalties. However, I think that would not be a wise idea. Feel free to include an opinion on penalties with your picks for the weekend, if you would like.

RPI travels to Colorado Springs, Colorado to take on the Colorado College Tigers for two games. (Darn, only 3, I was trying to fit in a couple more Colorados in that sentence.)
The Tigers rolled through their two exhibition games, taking down Lethbridge of the WHL before steamrolling over the USA U-18 team, but have not yet faced an opponent that was born before 1990.
RPI will be travelling on short rest, after losing to the UNB V-Reds on Tuesday.
You may not choose the following players for this game:
Rensselaer:
F - Chase Polacek
D - Mike Bergin
