hey question to anyone. Both Miami and Notre Dame's schedules have the game time tomorrow listed at 7 pm. But FSN detroit has the game listed as a live broadcast tomorrow at 5. Was their a scheduling change?

Miami v. Notre Dame series tops this week's INCH Friday Four-Cast.

Not sure which Miami schedule you're checking but the MURedHawks.com schedule shows the Saturday game at 5:05pm, which is probably a change from the original schedule in order to accommodate FSN-Detroit (they're broadcasting the UM-MSU game at 8pm).
Love and honor to Miami forever and a day. Go RedHawks!

They shouldn't poke the bear. Especially considering they run our goalie seemingly every time we play.

Tie drops us to 18 in PWR right now. And with CC with a 3-0 lead on NoDak, about to be #19. Need a huge win tomorrow, and next weekend...

Yeah...19th. Unbelievable. Nothing to say about last night. Yet another blown lead...what else is new this season?

I liked how they took the message that their first period wouldn't cut it and capitalized quick in the second. Need a win tonight to get the season head to head over nd. Four huge home games coming up too. Need some big wins. Come out and play a full sixty tonight and get back to work for another nice little budding rivalry with Michigan.

From the College Hockey News Post-Game Analysis...

A thoroughly phenomenal hockey game, with the best of college hockey on display in this one in front of a packed house in South Bend and a national TV audience. The first period had just one goal, by North Dakota, but consisted of spirited play, hard hits, and many scoring chances. Then, these two high-powered teams exploded in the second period, kicked off by Reilly Smith's 17th of the year, 14 seconds into the period, to tie it. Later, freshman T.J. Tynan matched it with his 17th for the Irish. In all, there were five goals, and the game went 3-3 into the third. ... From there, Miami scored two, but Notre Dame roared back with two of its own, including the tying goal from Tynan. ... The game wound up in a shootout, and although you can count me in the group that can't stand shootouts, watching these offensive skills on display was fun. Andy Miele's goal, that tied the shootout for Miami in the third round, was absolutely sick -- a backhanded that he roofed quickly.
I knew something was fishy... Those Irishmen were really just Sioux warriors in disguise!
Love and honor to Miami forever and a day. Go RedHawks!

Miami improves to 0-6-1 this season when trailing after two periods. Progress!

Wasted weekend. We are the better team, but that's been the case in most weekends. Something's just missing this year. Perhaps they'll find it during the regular season's final month.

Guess we really can't complain about going 1-1-2 against those guys this season. At least we didn't lose again. Next four will decide if we have a shot at an at large or have to do work in March. Sucks to blow another late two goal lead Friday though. We'rw 3-3-2 in our last eight games. Time to snap the slump and get some wins.

Hate to say it but Notre Dame was the better team last night. If it wasn't for the improved defensive effort and cody playing well it would of been a blow out and they actually won a third period.

Big series this weekend for NCAA tournament hopes. Need to go 3-1 over the next four games against higher ranked TUC's to get back into this thing I think. Will this be the weekend this team plays to their full potential for 120 minutes?

Heading down to Oxford tomorrow afternoon. I haven't been able to make it to any games since that wonderful series in Columbus one month ago. I hope that this weekend turns out significantly better than that one. Can I get two wins for my birthday, please?
