C-H-C, does this mean that you're working together with the THE UNH MEN'S HOCKEY BLOGGER GUY to get the blog running once again?

what a joke. I never read these particular forums any more except to get a few updates on UNH recruits for the 11-12 season, and there is a bunch of BC clowns *********ging it up on these forums. Seriously guys, get laid, get a job, get something. you people are fvcking pathetic.

Thanks to all the rest who actually post anything of substance.

Seriously? Another 2012 forward? And one that played empire league as an 18 year old? Who did we lose for 2012?

Looks like UNH has broken things off with Correale. Very unfortunate and sad. Not sure what umile is thinking. There are many uncommited players in the ushl that would make a bigger impact as a replacement. Sorry for negativity.

As of August 10th, the plan was for Dan Correale to have surgery on an unspecified "upper body injury", rehab, join the Grande Prairie Storm sometime around December, and then come to UNH in the fall of 2012 (when he will be 21 years old). (http://www.gpstorm.com/default.aspx?p=article&id=32548). As of this morning, Dan Correale's name does not appear on either the Heisenberg List or the roster on the Storm's website. For his sake, I hope he fully recovers from the surgery and is able to continue his career.

Morning CHC.i was just on Heisenburg and Correale is now on the 2012 list...So that makes 6 fowards coming in next year? and 3 graduating?? somethings gotta give.

It might be that the coaches expect to lose a recruit to the OHL or an existing forward to the pros after the '11-12 season. Another recruit may be pushed back or a "commit" may not be as committed as they would like. As an NU fan I know something about uncommitting.

At the same time, I should say that UNH's recruiting has been very good in recent years and that Umile's talent development has been excellent. He always puts an interesting team on the ice. Our games with UNH, in recent years, have been competitive and enjoyable to watch.

According to USHR, Shane Eiserman will be heading to UNH for the fall of 2014.

Young talent!! Can't complain about that. Eiserman sounds like he could potentially be a great pick- up.

Now that freshmen are moved in - can anyone confirm that Downing made it?
6 forwards slated for 2012 raises some questions and concerns.
