A lot of it is the Timid Tim system where no one plays the body or clears people out from in front of the net. Corrolary to that is that none of the guiys we've recruited for defense play that way, except possibly Nemec and Pryor.

So you got a coach who doesn't like or let his d-men play physical, recruiting d-men who don't play physical.
What kind of cheese are you planning to put on top?

Will he be back or is he done?
A great college player, maybe the best ever, who never achieved his pro potential due to injury.

He committed to play for us over 4 years ago. His dad is a prominent alum and associate head coach. He attended the University academically last year. I think we're all pretty familiar with him

                Thanks for the post, though

Can anyone up there confirm whether the latest plan includes ice-making capabilities and sized for a 85x200 surface or not ?

The seating capacity is set for 5,800 according to the article, which is not that much bigger than the Alfond's official seating of 5,450. Would be a good venue for any games held when students are on break.

                    Maine coach Red Gendron said:
“We’re not satisfied unless we win, that’s the bottom line. There are no moral victories. If we were to play a season for just moral victories, why even bother playing?”

Isn't it great that Bangor has eliminated itself from contention to host an NCAA Ice Hockey Regional even before they put a shovel in the dirt? Those some smart folks up there.........

(Yeah, yeah........I know. It would be hard to compete with all of these other cities that are drawing 3 or 4K per session. )

Agreed but you have to admitt, the hotel situation sucks in Bangor/Orono

Comfort inn is considered 4 star because of its proximity to the mall

Black Bear Inn goes to teams only and the rest are a farce
