I guess I'll admit to being wrong. I didn't think goaltending would be a sure strength for RIT coming into the season, and through the non-conference schedule that fear seemed to be justified. RIT played well in those non-conference games, but they weren't getting the "big save" to get them over the hump, and the goal to end 2008/2009 wasn't exactly stellar.
He's definitely a goalie that improved with each season. Coming in, I wouldn't have guessed he would have done as well as he did. But, I'm thrilled to have been wrong, as the coaching staff always talked about how determined he was, and he seems like a great kid. Congrats to him, and you've got to think he'll find a pro role somewhere, which will enable him to achieve his goal.
