Finger far off the pulse of college hockey, thanks to Mack Portera.
It was fun for a whole lot of seasons.

I don't know much about the administation, but have talked with Harris and some of his associates. Lets face it there was no record to really talk up either, although they did win the conference. They may have lost some great players, but they have a lot of great players left, regardless of what certain people on here say! Sometimes players just play well together when they want to and the coach gets credit for it as well.It happens that way in every sport, the team peaks at the right time! It is not the CCHA's fault either for things happening. I'm just a guy who likes to contribute to UAH hockey and love to go see them play at home as often as I can. I can't see them folding right now or anytime soon!

I agree, they aren't going anywhere... Not to mention UAH has maybe the best uniforms in all of College hockey, can't have those go away.

Although the silver pants at Niagra are pretty sweet.

The only things that concern me on-ice next year are the center position with Järvinen and Coburn going professional and the goaltending position with Talbot going pro. I like the wingers and defensemen.

That's not to say that I don't think the incoming players won't fill the holes the boys have. It's just that they'll be freshmen, and they'll make freshman mistakes.

                  That would be Providence College.
That answer was posted in Douglas's original opponent list with the details provided by BC/HE on 6/15.
I've assumed the discussion has been about a second HE team.
Rensselaer can also be added to the list.

Honestly, thats a really good schedule...Will be tough for them to make the tournament but they have an opportunity if they perform well with that schedule.

Mystery guest is not BU either. Their schedule was released as reported. So only Vermont and Merrimack remain as BC is headed to the Dartmouth tournament. Only way it could be BC is if BC and Harvard don't meet this year and it becomes a combination exhibition and regular season game opening weekend or two exhibitions with BC. Wouldn't be a bad way to pack an exhibition opener would it?

hmmmmm, not likely BC then. I was kinda thinking/hoping it would be BC as maybe York wanted to do something for UAH as other teams are doing after they had the screws put to them....

Not Vermont, they havn't released their schedule yet but the 7 OOC games are known. UAH isn't one of them.
2X DU, SLU, Yale, 2X Catamount Cup, 1 unknown but UVM plays Dartmouth every year. So that would be 7.

If another HE team is headed down it would have to be MC.

It is still possible as BU and Harvard are playing in a non conference game which may not allow Harvard to play BC. Still a combo exhibition/regular season game weekend is a rather strange option. Is it possible they petitioned to waive the rules and give another regular season game here? Like the previous writer said the only other possibility is Merrimack.
