The Plattsburgh State Cardinals host the Concordia Stingers of Montreal tonight in an exhibition contest at the Stafford Ice Arena. Concordia competes with other schools in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport (the U.S equivalent to the NCAA). The Stingers are 5-1 in conference play, and are 6-3 overall.
Anybody want to take a shot at this one? I'm going to take PSUC 8-1.

yea not much talk of this ex game, no mention on collegehockeystats or this site, ?? I believe they will handle them handley if thats a word?? Unless they r looking past them to Nov 6 th ;-)).until then
That was great being able to watch all three goaltenders get their shot in net tonight. I'm definitely impressed with Foley's performance thus far; although I'd like to see him face a more credible opponent to really get a sense of where he's starting the season at. Leis seemed to be doing alright, but man...Williams really has me concerned at this point. Hopefully it's just the pre-season jitters.
The first period featured a barrage of shots on goal; although I was surprised only two made their way into the back of the net. The second period wasn't quite as solid as I would have preferred, but man - the team really went to town in the third period.
Overall, I'm definitely looking forward to getting the season underway. Let's go Cards!!
It was a great game and the 6-2 final is missleading, it was 3-2 until already short handed, Concordia (Que) took a 5 minute major (Butt-ending) with under 7 minutes remaining in the game. Though as evidenced by the almost 2-1 loopsided shots on Goal, Plattsburgh pretty much dominiated the game.

Glad to hear it was more respectable-like this year; Concordia's off to a solid start in CIS, so I was a little more optimistic than last time around
Go Cards: win or lose, The Better Team. A Lot of (Sometimes Tainted) SUNYAC Championships
A Handful of ECAC West Championships
A Number of NCAA Appearances, Including Several Trips to the Final Four, Though Some of Them Don't Count
Some National Championships:
Women's (THIS YEAR, LAST YEAR, A Couple Years Back, '08, '07)
Men's (Wow Look at the Time Pass, A While before That)
