DU at best would need to partner with Air Force and schedule a day of lacrosse. This happened at Gillete Stadium this year:

I dont think they got more than 10K. The NCAA final gets about 40-50K depending on the location.
The issue is with the timing. You would hope to attract alumni and kids who play. Around here (eastern MA) weekends are when Lax teams play their games and I would think you would not want to conflict with that FWIW.
If anything even a small crowd could help build brand awareness and give far flung alumni of perhaps some big schools (like a UVA,Syracuse, or notre dame) a chance to see their school. It would could also be a recruiting tool for any eastern school looking to tap western tallent.
