Re: DIII Tournament Poll
Despite my eastern bias, I'm going with the home team in this one. I fully expect a 1-0 game between GAC and Amherst, so it's a fine line who's going to win.
Elmira better not sleep on Norwich, which appeared extremely disciplined, well-coached, and opportunistic last Saturday.
That said, I picked GAC, Elmira, Amherst, Norwich. I truly believe any of the above are realistic possibilities though.Last edited by spwood; 03-18-2010, 04:35 PM.Steve

Re: DIII Tournament Poll
Is the webcast the normal Gustavus one? or is it different?
Interesting that most voters have Gustavus winning it or getting 4th place.Last edited by gojackets; 03-19-2010, 01:52 PM.UWS Ladyjackets

As far as winning or taking 4th, it kind've makes sense. Win tonight and ride the home crowd's support throughout both games. Otherwise it's a pretty big letdown to lose a semifinal game at home one night and play again the next day. Gotta be tough to come out with the same kind of intensity/fan support for a third place game.

I think Amherst will be more ready today than they were a year ago when GAC beat them, but today's Amherst doesn't have Elek, so I picked GAC to win today.
