The Northeast, on the other hand, got gutted... and so I'm curious about this as well. The ECAC-NE website still posts the September 2007 revision on the league rules, so I would have to assume there have been no changes. (Of course, we all know what happens when you assume...) Under the old format of 8 teams, all 8 would get in. But that's what the NCHA does, too. So that's not really unreasonable, especially given the expulsion of the D-II teams from the league. It will be interesting to see if they changed anything.Plattsburgh CARDINALS
