    LINDENWOOD STRENGTHENS ITS GRIP ON THE #1 SPOT


    UNION LAKE, MI - The defending ACHA Men's Division 1 National Champions, Lindenwood University tightened its grip on the #1 spot in Ranking #7, garnering 31 of 37 first-place votes. Penn State received 5 first-place votes and pounced up three spots to #2 after sweeping #3 Ohio at State College, PA. The Bobcats received the other first place vote, but have lost three of their last 4 games since handing #1 Lindenwood its only two losses of the season.



    Minot State was the big mover and shaker in the polls, leaping up five spots to the #11 position. The Beavers went on the road and got a win over #13 Central Oklahoma and a pair of wins over #7 Oklahoma.



    Stony Brook University clinched the Regular-Season Championship for the Eastern Collegiate Hockey Association (ECHA) and a spot in the 2011 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships. They join host Robert Morris University Illinois, leaving 14 other spots open for the tournament.



    The eighth ranking of the regular season will be released on Friday, February 5.


    The 2010 ACHA Men's Division 1 National Championships will be hosted by Robert Morris University Illinois and will take place March 6-10, 2010 at The Edge in Bensenville, IL. Sixteen teams will qualify for the tournament.

    I'm new to following ACHA Hockey, but (as you can probably tell from my avatar), I'm a follower of ACHA M2 hockey. When can I expect ACHA M2 Ranking #4 to be announced?

        Thanks! Although I noticed that 3 of the 4 regions were posted today... of course, the 1 not posted just HAD to be the one I cared most about
