  • No. 1: Minnesota and Michigan fight for top recruit honors

    College Hockey 247

As we complete our ranking of the Top 10 classes for 2010, four of the top five candidates could make a strong argument for being positioned at the head of the field; there's simply little variance in the quality of the handful at the top. But the battle comes down to Michigan and Minnesota …
We all know Michigan will end up being the number one recruiting class in the country, they always are.
Slap Shot - 444 might want to consider a restraining order.
dggoddard - Minnesota is THE ELITE Program in all of college hockey.
wasmania - you have to be the very best to get ice time with the great gophers!

Yeah, I know. And yet, we have soundly beaten the Goofs two years in a row with the likes of Hogan and Sauer in goal.

It's not that hard to do against a Gopher team with no offense whatsoever.
