  • Mark Johnson - 30 Years Later

I doubt a lot of Wisconsinites read the NY Daily News but a few weeks ago the newspaper profiled 1980 Olympic hero, current women's Badger coach on leave and 2010 Women's USA Olympic coach, Mark Johnson. Quite an interesting read for all Wisconsin and USA hockey fans.

If Mark can pull off a gold medal coaching this US women's team on Canadian ice, it would be a tremendous accomplishment. I think it's a tall order, but this guy knows a thing or two about being an underdog on the Olympic stage.
