PSU has a d-man from Winchendon Prep I believe. Big kid and a nice offensive side to his game.

Utica is really piling up the recruits, Kiley is a good player from the Monarchs and a good pick up.

Furr has appeared in 10 games for Nichols this year, surely he's not a 2010 recruit.

Surprised he is going D3. It was my understanding he wanted to go D1. He could have gone D3 after last year. But yes, very good pickup for Utica. He's a future first liner.

I'm pretty sure all players want to go DI.

Haha. Obviously but not all really have a shot at D1 and why do two years in juniors when only one year would have been sufficient? To each their own of course...

I've seen Kiley play a few times this year...raw player but he's got a ton of upside.

I'm sure most want to, but even with a DI offer on the table that doesn't mean they would take it. Most kids on that bubble aren't getting full rides all expenses paid. Their offer isn't good enough when considering: distance from family, cost to attend school, playing time etc. A top-tier Div. III program like SNC, Plattsburgh, Superior etc. starts looking really good when you weigh your options.

Those are the guys DIII coaches are after, whether it be for reasons listed above or the player couldn't pass through the National Student Clearinghouse for some reason.

If Georgetown Prep had paid more attention to the hockey team as opposed to the lacrosse team, it never would have happened.
