Trotter is a 'tweener. Talented AHL scorer who's not strong or tough enough to make it in the NHL. With his build, he'd need to be a pit bull.

No doubt he has the talent.

Was really hoping Trotter would get to stay longer.

A bit of trivia--Brandon, Manitoba, population about 43,000, is the hometown of both Trotter and linemate, Ryan White. What are the odds that on the same weekend 2 local boys would be called up and playing on the same line for the Canadiens? Is that a dream for small town Canadian boys?

BTW, Trotter is about 6 months older than White. But White is 2" taller and 15 lbs heavier.
      GO DU !!!

Does that mean the Post recognizes DU Hockey deserves and has earned more attention?!

Terry Frei is a good writer. I always like when he has an article about DU hockey.

Let's hope. Either way it's a nice piece.

Now that football season is over, DU has a much better shot to get some more ink.

Good. Its no fun watching Areos games with out him in there.

J.P. did get into a decent fight last week at a game I attended. Here's a fight from earlier in the season. Guess the Wild have figured out he's not going to become an NHL forward with his skating.

Judging from the clip, he won't get there with his fighting skills, either.

Testuide was a walk on who got the most out of his talent at DU.

For him to even get the AHL is nothing short of amazing.
