As are many UAA fans. UAA has not swept Tech in Houghton since 1999! BTW, anyone know why the Saturday game is so early? Scheduled for 1:07 Alaska time.
Our Saturday game against SCSU was at the same time, 5:07 local time. I think it's a WCHA-wide experiment. Not sure of the exact reasoning behind it.

To give us more time to drink after the game, and hopefully forget the entire weekend of hockey.
Having a clear conscience just means you have a bad memory or you had a boring weekend.

Well, I'd say we're having a season of 1999 proportions (99-00 being the campaign that we set the NCAA record for losses in a season, with 34), so I'd say that if it's going to happen, you're more due than ever.
Thanks Twitch and Huskyfan. UAA has kinda been in the same boat, I don't think Shyiak has had a full roster to choose from so far this season. Right now we have two out injured (Lunden and Vidmar). Crowell is suspended for both games against you guys, and Tuton is suspended for Friday. I know how frustrating it can be, believe me. I feel for you guys.
Don't feel for me, the UofM football season for the last two years has been a lot harder to deal with then Tech hockey.
Just so we never forget.

Re: Michigan Tech Season Thread Part V: We Were Dead On Arrival
Yesterday was a sad day for College Hockey. For those of you with me in St. Louis, Amo Bessone passed away yesterday in his home in New Mexico at the age of 93.

If I can pass away at home when I'm 93 I will die a happy man.
Especially if I can look back on my life and see that I've had half the impact on anything that he had on College Hockey.
Just so we never forget.

You're going to have a broomball game to go to that night, mister.
By the way, our game is against almost all former members of Project Mayhem, the team that Desperate Hausmates (one of my previous teams) beat once to win McNair and then lost to last year with 10 Yanks and a Scott in the playoffs. I fully expect their team to finish in the top 3. In other words, start drinking.
