Re: Michigan Tech Season Thread Part V: We Were Dead On Arrival
Another night another loss.
Jamie's postgame thoughts:
heartbreaker, being down 4-1 and coming back
we had a complete 60 min effort tonight
breakout much better, D men working together
good passing tape to tape
generated 36 shots and not a lot of PP time
great to see Baker get on track, 3 points
1st/2nd lines were good
3/4th line need to make sure they're strong defensively
End of game strategy: be careful not to just take slap shots with AA packing in around the goal
We had some chances, but couldn't get handle on the puck

Tonight's game is proof that the hockey gods hate us this year. We outplayed UAA basically the whole game, and we still end up losing. It's like we just can't catch a break or get any bounces in our favor no matter what. What do we have to do to appease you, o gods of hockey? I would suggest sacrificing a virgin, but there is no where near enough of those up here to waste.

As an "outsider," even I am now on the Time For A Change bandwagon.
As I mentioned to ShirtlessGuy last night, you guys can't expect to be a top 3 WCHA team, but you could easily be in the "fighting for home ice" range.
Never really developed a taste for tequila. Kind of hard to understand how you make a drink out of something that sharp, inhospitable. Now, bourbon is easy to understand.
