I can tell you that a large number of us in NJ/NYC/PA will be at the game. Even our pre-game lunch is triple deep.

If you can't be at The Hobey, don't forget - ESPNU 3pm.

I hope a) we win and b) I get to meet Jerry D'Amigo after the game to congratulate him for his performance earlier this week.

Re: RPI @ Princeton, January 10th

Was watching a little bit of the Colgate/Princeton game (on TW Sports on Demand here). Granted it's an earlier game, so the passes don't seem very crisp. I don't know if it's still as such. Princeton does have the ability to control the game, so we have to make sure we don't get caught in our end for an extended period while it's even strength.

12 degrees here and wind chill is exactly 0!!Should be a little crisp inside Baker Rink today. Expect to head over early to grab some pregame lunch and some potent potable. I like this 3:00 start time-at least we head over in daylight today. We are bringing our own little entourage of RPI fans. I suspect that perhap as high as 40% of the fans will be in RED today. I have seen Princeton play twice this year-they are far better than their record shows. It will all depend on matchups-if we can get to play our style we should be OK. If we allow them to forecheck their hearts out, we may have some trouble. It goes without saying that special teams will be important. Let's Go Red!!

Re: RPI @ Princeton, January 10th

Friday night, penalties didn't seem to matter. I hope the team doesn't see that as a reason to keep going to the box.
Getting D'Amigo back should be a catalyst to keep us moving forward.
It certainly adds some offense to the team and another player for Princeton to have to take notice of.
In recent years, the Engineers have been awful on TV. I am looking forward to a reversal of that today.

Just leaving now to head down to the game! I'll be in the back row of Section 129 for those other USCHO'ers who will be there and wish to say hello. I'll be in the long-sleeved RPI Hockey shirt.

I like the idea too. I remember a year or two ago thinking Brutlag and Polacek should switch on the power play (think it was the Harvard game), and so it was.

For basically the first time all year (I think), we have three true scoring lines. This is the kind of thing I'd imagined when thinking about what we could do with this recruiting class. It's all on the table here ... if we can't win today, with our full lineup healthy and rested, going to be sorely disappointed.
