2 games at Assumption this season, looks like 2 losses. Doesn't bode well for a team that (some say) might be considering joining DIII, now does it?

But a 5-1 loss while a loss, wasn't a shutout, and was at Assumption during their Holiday Tournament. Not too shabby IMO.

Note also, Canton scored 6 on 6, 4 of Assumption's 5 goals were on the Power Play, yes, it doesn't say a lot for Canton's discipline (13 penalites for 53 minutes, including three - 10 min Misconducts) nor their Penalty Kill, but "it-is-what-it-is" (Box Here).

I guess I see your point. Anyway, none of this matters one bit unless and until Canton decides to "make the jump". Would Canton joining the SUNYAC mean Plattsburgh's travel partner would be Morrisville? (I think we can all agree it makes 100% sense to pair Potsdam and Canton)

Potsdam and Canton as travel partners would make sense, but as you said that would mean Plattsburgh and Morrisville would be travel partners and that doesn't work. If Canton was added I would think the travel partners would be:

Far West - Buffalo and Fredonia
Rochester area - Geneseo and Brockport
Central Northern - Oswego and Canton
Central Southern - Cortland and Morrisville
North Country - Potsdam and Plattsburgh

Wait! Logic? What? Hmm... it'll never happen.

No, in all seriousness, I agree that this would be the most logical (most probable?) setup. I'm disappointed in myself that I didn't think of it!
