Here's my thoughts on the Eastern Mid-Season All-Americans

    1st Team-
    F.Eric Selleck, Oswego
    F.Chris Laganiere, Oswego
    F.Martin Drolet, Middlebury
    D.Kyle Shearer-Hardy, Bowdoin
    D.AJ Mikkelsen, Manhattanville
    G.Ryan Klingensmith, Norwich

    2nd Team-
    F.Zach Kohn, Nichols
    F.Rusty Masters, Elmira
    F.Connor Treacy, Potsdam
    D.Alex Dionne, Wentworth
    D.Justin Troiani, Williams
    G.Kyle Gunn-Taylor, Oswego

Obviously the NESCAC and ECAC East teams havent played as many games but I did try and go by points per game etc to try and even the playing field a bit.

Again as the other threads...just trying to spark some discussion during the winter break before hockey starts up again.

So Derek, here is your All-American team, what would your All-Rookie team look like?

Interestingly, I just took a look back at your mid-season teams from last year. Only two of your 12 (Linden and Clarke) ended up on the real AA team. Nice shootin', Tex.

Yes it's Friday, yes I'm at work and yes I wanted to give you a hard time.

It's kind of sad, actually...Here it’s go to the rink, pay for your ice time and practice for an hour where we could just walk to the rink and skate for four hours if we wanted to...It was just a lot of fun. I wish I could go back and be eight years old for a couple days" -Neal Broten

Fair enough...Like I said...Just mean to spark discussion. Also, most be the other 10 I picked had bad second halves

                "You guys"?

I'm an independent freelancer. I have no transfer.

                  Re: East Mid-Season All-Americans

Zach Joy from USM should be given a look 10 goals in 8 games and he has scored against quality competition...

2 vs ST Mike's (ok but they have to play them)

                  Norwich

                  Colby

                  NEC

                  2 vs Middlebury

                  Williams

                  2 vs Salem State

                        Re: East Mid-Season All-Americans

Guys that I have seen that that are prime time players are Eric Satim and Dylan Clark for Plattsburgh. The Cardinals also have a number of younger players who could develope into the All American types before the end of the year.

I am not sure if any of the younger Norwich players have shown enough for All American consideration yet, however, before the year is out Scott Schroeder, Blake Forkey, and Kyle Thomas could make a move to get a little consideration. Some of the Norwich defensemen have also looked good so far. The problem with the Interlock schedule is most of the teams haven't played enough games to put up a lot of stats.

Of the goaltenders I have seen Anderson for Amherst stands out.

Hawk, Williams out of Platty was much better than Anderson.
