When and where is the game? Who is playing?

    Re: ECAC ALL-Stars VS US

The game itself takes place at the TD Arena on the scenic campus (ok, scenic top of the hill off-campus) of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut on January 3rd. The event is sold out.

Funny you should ask about who is playing as I was having the same thought not too long ago .(I was trying to distract myself as I took my daily dose of vegetables, in this case broccoli. Man I hate green stuff)

I expect the ECAC roster will be announced any day now.

sold out? wow! I had hoped to go and never even considered that it would sell out- even the women's Frozen Four doesn't sell out. Darn.

Are there tickets for parents of players who make the team?

Yeah those tickets are set aside. I think they get 4 each. At least when hockey east played 4 years ago, everyone got 4.

I think you can "blame" the various youth hockey associations in Connecticut for buying up blocks of tickets. It will be a lot of fun for the kids to be in a banged out building and see and feel the atmosphere. (and fun for the players too)

One would think the U-22 Canadian roster has caused some complications. Tough timing of the game for the ECAC.

Some players would seem to be obvious, leading scorers, defenders, goaltenders etc. Not sure if it works that way.

The roster has been posted on the ECAC Web site. I would post it here but I'm on my BlackBerry.

First thing I noticed as well. VERY weird. Looks like Parsons and Trunzo - just to name two - got snubbed. They are averaging 1.4 and 1.3 points per game respectively.

I was thinking the exact opposite.

No snubbing. Dartmouth and Brown both have non conference games that conflict.
