Players in bold were named (if not played in for various reasons) league All-Stars.

*Pendanza's 9 PPG are second best in the EJHL. His current point total puts him in a tie for 22nd.
*Thompson's 69 points have currently 9th in CJHL scoring, even though he missed a few games due to a knee injury.
*Melchiori's missed four games playing for Team Canada East in the World Junior A Challenge. He's been quiet offensively recently, with 3 assists in his last 18 games.
*C. Eiserman is currently 10th in the EJHL in GAA and 14th in save %.
*TJ Massie is fifth in the EJHL in GAA and is sixth in save %.
*Brickler was traded to the Westside Warriors on November 18th. While with Sioux City, his numbers were 0-3-3 in just 5 games played.
*Wallin's Gunnery team is 14-3-1, but I'm not sure how many games Wallin has played as he might have been out due to injury for a couple of games.
*Boulanger is 11th in the AJHL in GAA.
*Rayner was placed on the 45 day IR in mid-October and missed almost two full months.
*Curry is tied for 8th in the NAHL in scoring, but hasn't played in a bit due to a concussion.
*Carr is third in the CJHL in GAA with a 2.46, and is second in save percentage. Also, I've noted his 1 OT loss and his 2 Shootout losses as ties. He has currently missed a few weeks and is expected to miss at least three more due to a groin injury.

He's also trying to come back from a seperated right shoulder. Sounds like Newmarket will have their all Hockey East top defensive pairing back together soon though.

Thanks Bob. He actually played twice last weekend with a goal and an assist in two games.

Julian Melchiori didn't play (injury) for Newmarket in their 3-1 win last night in the CCHL.

In the USHL, Will Rayner was a -1 in a 5-2 loss for Lincoln vs Team USA.

Josh Holmstrom (+1) and Chad Ruhwedel (+2) each had an assist on the same goal in Sioux Falls 5-4 shootout loss. Holmstrom missed the fifth (and last) shootout shot, as Fargo won the shootouf 1-0.

Bill Eiserman had no points in the Jr. Monarchs 4-1 win yesterday in the EJHL.

Shayne Thompson had 2 primary assists and the winning shot in the shootout (and the second star) in Brockville's 4-3 shootout win over Cornwall. Doug Carr is still not playing for Cornwall.

After starting out a little slow in the USHL, Derek Arnold has 9 goals and 14 pts in last 10 games to lead his team from last to solidly in the playoffs.

Amazing how all this happened after he hooked up with Lowell.

great pick up for them, loss for Maine....

Like that he's finding his scoring touch. Now if only someone on the current Lowell roster would do the same.

In the USHL last night, all three UML recruits had a good game. The Lincoln Stars won at home 5-2 with Will Rayner getting two assists. For Sioux Falls, Chad Ruhwedel had a goal and Josh Holmstrom had an assist.

In the AJHL, Marc Boulanger was named the Home Star as the Grizzlys lost 3-2 in OT. Boulanger made 32 saves on 35 shots.

From USHR: Hopefully Lowell is being considered.
Harvard hockey has taken some hits this season, but now they're getting it from their own admissions department, which has rejected the application of Nepean Raiders (COJHL) forward Andrew Calof.

This has nothing to do with anything Calof did wrong. There are no behavior issues. He's not decommitting. He's not going major junior. It's just that the admissions department didn't feel that Calof was a strong enough candidate to accept the hockey staff's recommendation. The Harvard coaches committed to Calof last March.
Calof, who played for Canada East at the World Junior A Challenge in November, is an explosive skater who is creative and has a nose for the net. A 5'9", 160 lb. right-shot center, Calof is currently the seventh-leading scorer in the Central Ontario Junior Hockey League with a 39-44-83 line in 48 games. He's the highest-scoring '91 birthdate in the league.

Calof, whose grandfather is a Harvard grad, will be playing college hockey in the fall, but it will be somewhere else. Colorado College, Princeton, Yale, Vermont, Clarkson, and Mass-Lowell have all expressed interest and the Harvard staff is reportedly doing all they can to ensure the process goes smoothly.

If he comes in for a visit and this team can pick up it's collective sack and play a good game in front of a lively crowd, they can convince someone to commit.
