A cab to this location is probably 30ish.
    Thanks. Your belief is correct.

And, you can transfer to the 140 which goes right to the museum, but the transfer wait is 13 minutes, so it's a wash as long as the weather is nice enough to walk.

Now, if I decide to go Thursday, I'll have to make sure I watch the time closely to catch the bus back in time for the first game.

Oh heck, I already knew about the Windsor ballet...

And I'll have my passport since I'm driving through Ontario (from Rochester). I wanted to (jokingly) know about Detroit.

Strip club...Trumps is an 8 mile classic.

The landing strip is a downriver/airport place.

That's all of my experience. Sorry

I've heard the food at the Colisseum is good, but for the best girls, go to Flight Time or something like that.

There's always the new Hustler club in Lincoln Park, about 15-20 minutes south of Ford Field. It's not a t-shirt and jeans type of place though, think business casual.

There is one in Greektown called Bouzouki's. It's like 1 block west of the casino on Lafayette.

Never been in there though so I cannot say how it is.

According the their website they are hiring dancers, so take that for whatever that's worth...

If you're looking for a reasonably priced pint and good food and appetizers, the Detroiter, on Beaubien, 2 blocks toward the Ren Cen from the Greektown Casino/ Fishbones corner. Or you can get off the People Mover at the Bricktown stop and walk across the street. For a good breakfast, either in the morning or after the bar, the Plaka Cafe on Monroe across from the Greektown Casino is good too and very reasonable, $6-10 for most meals.

Final plea - looking for ride to Plymouth, MI (~30 min) for game 4 of Windsor Spitfires vs. Plymouth Whalers (OHL). The Spits are the defending Memorial Cup champions and are up by 2 games (game 3 is tonight).

                            The rosters:

It should be a great game and I will be allowed to shoot it IF I can get there and obviously I need to let them know ASAP.

                            Please!!!

Having been to Detroit numerous times many years ago including the Frozen 4, I would like to add a few comments. The Dearborn Ford sites are worth seeing: http://www.thehenryford.org/visit/index.aspx I didn't realize they were offering Rouge plant tours again so that would be high on my list. Does anyone know if the Zoo up on Woodward is still decent. It used to be.
As far as the Big House goes I was disappointed but it was interesting to see anyway. From outside it looks like an insignificant place. It looks like the Yale Bowl but bigger.

Lokks like it's about .7 miles to Ford Field (Washington Blvd.-Park-Witherell-Adams-Brush). Looks safe enough to walk to the games Thur. and Sat. but how about coming back?
