Underway in Hamden, where the TD Bank Sports Center looks pretty empty for this 4pm start.

Hansen delivers a hit, the noise probably caused the ref to call a penalty, and it's a 5-minute major. QU announcers don't like the call.

Didn't get a great look at the hit, but it definitely warranted a call, arguable major. Hopefully it stays consistant in the event it happens again

I had video off the internet, and I'm not sure it should have been a penalty, much less 5 minutes, much less a Game Misconduct.

SLU penalty, and the Bobcats kill off the major.

Brandon Wong (4), PPG gets the rebound from the doorstep, QU makes it 1-0 somewhere around midway 1st period

EDIT: 9:12 left in the 1st, next whistle after the goal.

                              On an editorial note:

Pretty impressive start for the Bobcats, pretty much everything has been going against them, with the major penalty to Hanson and the two minors as well. The team is keeping their cool and playing well with the cards they have been dealt so far in Hamden.

Any QU fans like myself surprised that Clarke gets both starts this weekend? He seemed to be the least impressive in the preseason, but obviously the coaching staff sees him as the #1 goalie
