  • NCAA Clears Brandon Richardson for Nebraska-Omaha

Just heard that the NCAA has cleared Brandon Richardson to play for Nebraska-Omaha. He'll make the trip to East Lansing this weekend, no word on if he'll play or not.

What was the hold up? American kid (not Canadian), played in USHL (not in the BCHL), an overager (ran out of junior eligibility but put up good numbers as an overager), not an NHL draft pick (so probably does not have a family advisor issue)???

Remember the 5 "S's" of hockey - Speed, Size, Strength, Skill and Smarts - The more you have of these, the higher level you get to go to....

Gives us the bio on the kid. Will he have a hard time cracking UNO's lineup?

Edit: check out www.mavmania.com for the bio. Kid played for the Indiana Ice in the USHL.
