A interesting side note to this tourney is the scheduling of two D1 games during the event. Boston U. and Wayne State play during the tournament at the same venue on Friday and Saturday. Should make for a great weekend of Women's hockey in the Motor City!

This will shed a lot of light on an early top 10 for U19 accross NA. Many candidates for that list are playing in Mo-Town this weekend.

Any takers on a pre-event top 10 for U19 based on early season results.

IMHO, Top club teams in Canada sofar are:
Montpetit, Aeros, Missy, POE, Stoney and Bluewater.

Monpeitit won the tournament at university of Moncton vs the host team quite convincingly 8-3. Moncton ranked #4 in Canada in CIS play. Not strictly a u19 team though as 8 players are into at least 3rd year cegep --2nd year university age.

Apparently over half of the Team's roster are players that play/played in the team Quebec U18 program including the top scorer from TC U18 from last year.
