There is not a lot of love for the MASCAC is there? -- Not that I blame you. I have to look @ their OOC's to make sure, but I think most of them did not look at the math of the PWC to see how do draw up your OOC to all but assure an NCAA bid for the conference champion.
If there is a stats geek out there they can show the math and how it IS possible.CCT '77 & '78

Actually, play by play has listed 11 teams, having picked Hobart as the Pool B selection, but not as a conference participant. Therefore, he only has one pick for the SUNYAC. Or perhaps the "2" bids for the SUNYAC and picking only one school is a "cut & paste" error (I've heard they exist
