JL has moved up to third in CJHL scoring http://cjhlsite.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=4401. It will take some effort to catch Damian Cross, the player whom he was traded for last year, who has more points per game. He's leading in goals, PPGs, SHGs, and GWGs.

He is 2nd in 3 Stars points http://cjhlsite.stats.pointstreak.co...&seasonid=4401.

BLUNDEN RECEIVES A ONE GAME SUSPENSION
        November 26th, 2009

Gloucester Rangers forward Stephen Blunden received a one game supension for his hit from behind on Hawks winger Yanik Laliberté on octobre 30th. The league arrived at the decision Thursday afternoon. Blunden will miss the January 3rd game between the Hawks and the Rangers. Laliberté who has been out of the lineup since his concussion, has begun skating with the team and hopes to be back in action over the weekend.
It sounds like the league is more concerned about what Yanik's teammates might do to Blunden than what happened to Yanik. It's good to see that he may be back in the lineup soon, but I hope that they are not rushing it.

Now you sound like me I have gotten so used to him scoring 2 or 3 points in a game that it is old hat. As you know I have touted this kid for a year and a half. My only source who has evaluated him told me a long time ago that this kid was something special and that we will be seeing a very special player in Troy. This is kind of unusual for me-I usually like the forwards who are 6' and 190 or bigger but this little package is going to light it up for us

Definitely seems more offensive this year-perhaps we will be getting a bit more than we thought when we recruited him?

You're more optimistic than I am about him. He is the number 3 scorer on his team at the moment. My feeling is that he will be replacing Vassel and be in and out of the lineup.

I like Tinordi's improvement. I'm kind of puzzled by the excitement over Higgs. He seems like a good but not great player in a pretty bad league. Is is the NHL CSB rating the only thing that has people worked up over him?

The scouting reports on him that have been posted here from all over the interwebs have been relatively sparkling about him. There's got to be something there that these folks are seeing.

You're reading my statement between the lines-I just stated that he seems more offensive this year. That in itself is a bit of a surprise when it seemed like we were getting no additional offense from him.
