Is something missing from this NCAA Site

And something seems to be missing from this NCAA Site too (Though there is a neat countdown in the upper right hand corner)

Ozz, 3 teams from the ecac-w have made the tournament, I believe. I might be mistaken here, but I think I remember it happening recently, heh.

Norm, your really good with this stuff. Is it possible you can find the last time the NCAA Tournament accounted for three SUNYAC teams?
          Plattsburgh State Cardinals
1992 & 2001 NCAA Division III Ice Hockey Champions
          21 SUNYAC Championships

I'll take this one since Norm hasn't yet: never happened. I also checked back to the old '70s-'80s DII days, and it never happened then, either. Just for reference, here are the instances of two SUNYAC teams making the tourney:

1982 - Oswego and Plattsburgh (DII)
1987 - Oswego and Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh Vacated)
1988 - Oswego and Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh Vacated)
            1990 - Geneseo and Plattsburgh
            1995 - Fredonia and Plattsburgh
            1998 - Oswego and Plattsburgh
            2007 - Oswego and Fredonia

Edit: I don't recall where it was posted the other day, but Webb provided a link to this, which is a great resource for DIII tourney historical stuff.

I also have some really bad news to report. As of this afternoon Eric Satim has been told that he will be done for the remainder of the season due to the knee injury he suffered against Willaims on Monday night. THIS is exactly what this team DOESN'T need. Talk about added pressure for Clarke, Farrow and Willock to step up!

Thanks alot! The only time I remembered multiple teams was in 2007 when Oswego won the National Championship after recieving the at-large bid and Fredonia beating Plattsburgh at home (cough, Kevin Amborski) to take the AQ.

1986 saw Oswego, Plattsburgh and RIT all in the NCAA Tournament, I believe while they also were playing for the ECAC-West Championship.

Rick Shrank has missed every game since the opener against Oswego and is done for the season, and EC has done pretty well without him. Not saying that we don't miss him, but I think Plattsburgh will be fine!

I don't think Oswego made the tourney in '86, but there were actually 4 ECAC West teams in the tourney nonetheless: Plattsburgh, RIT, Elmira, and Union. And three the year before (sans Elmira).

                              Edit - Other instances: Oswego-RIT-Union '84, Elmira-Oswego-Plattsburgh '88, Oswego-RIT-Union '89, Elmira-Geneseo-Plattsburgh '90, Elmira-Oswego-Mercyhurst '91. So yeah, pretty crazy conference before the big split.

Shrank has 18 goals and 12 assists in 44 games. Satin has 30 goals and 53 assists in 68 games.

Besides being more productive in general, satin is plattsburgh's leading goal scorer this season, and his 23 pts are almost 50% more than th second leading player on the team (16 pts).

It's also psychologically different to lose a player that early in season compared to losing him right as you're getting ready for the conference stretch run.
