UMD isn’t going fade like Lake State, Maine, or Northern Michigan from the 1990’s. Duluth is a destination college town for kids throughout the state and the quality of hockey has gotten so good in the state that it can feed a lot of programs. A lot of programs that are on top of the Pee Wee and Bantam rankings should be in UMD’s recruiting wheelhouse.
