People remember Timmyís good recruits and forget all the clunkers. He had a lot more to sell too.

His issues with the boosters and fundraising did him in as much or more than the ice or recruits, the demeanor. Maybe hes learned and that would change at the next stop, or maybe that relationship would never devolve to that point because the next place wonít be comparing him to SW.

If he decides to try again I wish him well but hope to hell Maineís on its feet again by then bc itll he hard to stomach the spin on that mess if we still suck

I would take him back too. He would never come back to Maine even if the opportunity presented itself.

Don't blame him and opportunity will never present itself. He was good with Grant, after that, not so much

Imagine Tim bringing Merrimack or UConn to Alfond and boarding the bus on Saturday night with two wins.

Oh, there were indeed some clunkers. But he mixed-in some high-end talent that Red has never had a sniff of.

If Providence wins tonight, do you think McGovern gets one last start on his Senior Night? The game becomes irrelevant for Maine at that point as they are locked into 6th, you have to think they'd at least explore it.

How about they dress him as the 19th skater instead? With only one game this weekend I think you have to keep Swayman sharp for next weekend.

1. UMass
2. PC
3. NU / UML / BU
4. NU / UML / BU
5. NU / UML / BU
6. Maine
7. BC / UNH
8. BC / UNH

We ruled out Providence tonight but still a lot to be determined.

If NU wins, Maine plays NU.
If NU ties and UML wins, itís still NU.
If NU loses and UML wins, itís UML.
If NU loses. UML loses and BU wins, itís BU.
If NU loses, UML loses and Maine wins, itís NU.

I know itís not what people want to hear but barring a miracle and some help from UNH, itís shaping up to be a battle against Northeastern.

NE 29 (14) 31 3-5 UNH
ML 28 (12) 30 3-5 at UVM
BU 27 (12) 29 3-5 at ME

ME 24 (10) 26 6 BU

BC 23 (10) 25 7-8
NH 22 (8) 24 7-8 at NE

Maine is locked into the 6 seed. The best news of the night is that next weekend will not be in Providence as the Friars have clinched the 2 seed. Northeastern clinches #3 with a win or tie. Lowell needs a win paired with a Huskies loss to get the 3 seed. BU needs a win, a NE loss and a ML loss or tie.

See, you don't want me cheering your team on. Everything goes downhill lately karma-wise. This is a good weapon. I think I will cheer on UNH and BU for a while. Lol.

This is my guess about Maine going to NU. Speed will wear you down, with a system of smart small d men that are quick making decisions.
