just was telling mr les about the 3 repeat rule. He also thought they were just uninterested. He wouldn't believe me- no one would be that stupid- until lil-not-so-lil les confirmed it. Body language can be so eloquent.

A night @Boyle33 will never forget!

In his first @NHL start, Byle stops all 35 shots for his first career shutout!#LetsGoDucks | #VANvsANA pic.***********/1oJiunbV4O
First career start. First career @pepsi shutout.

No other words needed for Kevin Boyle! pic.***********/KeW2wxIvy4
Kevin Boyle became the second goaltender in @AnaheimDucks franchise history to record a shutout while making his first career NHL start. The only other: John Gibson on Apr. 7, 2014 vs. VAN. #NHLStats #VANvsANA pic.***********/01GwVvFOFE
— NHL Public Relations (@PR_NHL) February 14, 2019
Kevin Boyle of the @AnaheimDucks also joins San Jose's Troy Grosenick (45 saves on 11/16/2014) as the only goalies since 2000-01 to have a 35+ save shutout in their first NHL start.#LetsGoDucks
— Stats By STATS (@StatsBySTATS) February 14, 2019
The @AnaheimDucks' 7-game losing streak is no more thanks to Kevin Boyle, who won his first NHL start.
— Stats By STATS (@StatsBySTATS) February 14, 2019
The last goalie to make his first NHL start with his team on a 7+ game losing streak and earn the win to end the streak was San Jose's Arturs Irbe on 11/8/1991.#LetsGoDucks
Some notes on @Boyle33:
— Anaheim Ducks (@AnaheimDucks) February 14, 2019
His 35-save shutout marked the sixth-most saves in @NHL history in a goaltender’s first NHL start (since shots were recorded in 1955).
First goalie age 26-or-older to record a shutout in his first NHL start since 1986.#LetsGoDucks | #VANvsANA pic.***********/FVeYT7cO5R

Back when I was a student, I and others would come up with cheers and heckles off the cuff, and if the section picked them up then three times made a world of sense (example would be "Daddy's Money" against BU and stuff) because it wasn't something you really were looking to get going for any length of time. But chants like U-M-L, Let's Go Lowell, etc - there's no reason to say them thrice and then cut it off. Let it fill the arena. Let all the Lowell fans get in on it till it's rocking and you know both teams are hearing you.
It had it's time and place for being a thing, but I'd love to see the student section now break out of it and become more involved.Lowell Forever
Forever Lowell

Re: UML 2018/2019 Season: Back to Bazin Basics
OK local peeps- I need a place to have lunch/dinner at 1'Oclock on a Saturday for 9 people. Main group based in Chelmsford but coming from the north and south to meet. Place needs to take reservations and has to have stuff that doesn't contain garlic. So far Good Thymes and John Ryans have both don't take reservations. Anyone have any ideas?
