Overall, it's a great arrangement for the league. ESPN+ seems more than reasonable at $50 a year when looking at what it offers.

Oh for sure. Easily saving money if you watched a couple Ivy series or just playoffs. Plus, much better exposure.

Remember that not a single school, nor broadcast group, is going to see a penny from this. This is why RPI-TV is not joining. And good on them to stand up to the slave masters.

It's what was done in the playoffs, and knowing the league, they are making no financial effort to "improve" broadcast quality, only taking what is already offered for their own profits without compensation to the producers.

Wrong. 3 camera setup minimum required. Likely to be replays and such added to the broadcasts.

I certainly hope this is not the case. ESPN streaming services have typically had minimum requirements to ensure a consistent look, feel and quality to the broadcast.

For what it's worth: From people who watched the SLU Women on the ESPN+ platform tonight, the quality is already better than last year. Higher resolution, smoother, and none of the glare that the SLU broadcast became known for last season. I expect things will continue to get better as well, given the move was only recently announced.

Same for the Union Women's game tonight. Much improved and crystal clear.
