Does your laptop have an HDMI port? I just use an HDMI cable and plug it into the HDMI port on my big screen TV. It looks great - much nicer than watching the game on my computer screen.

Yes but it seems to lag or pixelate more than a regular tv broadcast.

Depends on who is producing the broadcast. This year (for the first time) BU was using "Campus Insiders." The video quality is actually excellent; however, it takes about a minute and a half for the buffer to "catch up" so initially it's very grainy and blurry. And if you switch to another browser window, the same thing happens when you come back. It's basically a bandwidth issue. If you didn't have a buffer, every time the stream "paused" you would lose that part of the broadcast. Kind of like a transformer "regulates" the electrical flow so that it's constant. ESPN3 is typically good, but, of course, there are a number of factors, such as your internet provider, the processor on your computer, etc.

They can be, but they are usually simply moved over to ESPN-8 "The Ocho" due to conflicts with local infomercials in most markets.
