  • Red Cows @ SCSU 12/9-12/10

Named this thread in memory of Red Cows, who disappeared from the board on 1/16/16 and never came back.

Omaha is 7th in the nation in scoring, tied for 30th in defense. +0.69 goal differential
St. Cloud is tied for 12th in scoring, 44th in defense. +0.21 goal differential

It will be a good weekend for our defense to figure things out. I am going to the game on Saturday, it will be my first time being in one of the suites. Anyone have any feedback on them?

Re: Red Cows @ SCSU 12/9-12/10

This Omaha squad could really use some Red Cowsesque optimism. Our PP has looked lost these last two weeks (2/19) without a couple key players in each series who I believe are still doubtful this weekend (Pope and Brady still doubtful?). I hope the freshmen who got some of their first pp minutes this past weekend learned from them. This weekend has huge implications for conf tourney home ice with both teams tied in the standings coming in. Omaha's transition game has been brutally exposed by strong forechecking teams at times, and defense in general has been optional. Keys for both teams will be staying out of the box because ppgs are going to happen. I'm looking forward to seeing the Poehling trio in action and deciding for myself if they deserved '15 AHH honerable mention. https://youtu.be/IzhSpdPqexY Predicion: split. 5-3 SCSU, 4-1 Omaha.
