Well, I meant it when I speak about the CD... Dominate the market. It's my opinion that RPI doesn't. Not first hand naturally... But things at present wouldn't be close and it's not because of winning and losing.

If HEA truly is supposed to the "SEC" of hockey... The top dogs... Then it needs to be patient and selective. Springing to the next big thing is a sign of weakness.

            From Mike McMahon:

            Mike McMahon ‏@MikeMcMahonCHN
Not sure on matchups, but told Frozen Fenway teams are BC, BU, PC, UMass, UConn, UNH, Northeastern and Maine. 4 games over 2 Saturday's.
            Mike McMahon ‏@MikeMcMahonCHN
Non-participating schools are being asked to move games that weekend to leave Fenway games as only games on those 2 Saturdays (1/2)
            Mike McMahon ‏@MikeMcMahonCHN
(2/2) but I was told by one coach that has been met with "much resistance." ... Home teams will have gates reimbursed per usual.

I also hope we're fighting to not change game time or date either

I am beginning to realize that the definition of a purist when thinking about sport is the ability to make money not the sport itself. There is no such thing as a league or situation that doesn't have $$ involved. Even kid sport is driven by $$ not love of sport.

They are probably supposed to roll over and play dead for the 'good of the sport' (roughly translated- to make the most money even if it compromises the sport.)

I deleted the my previous post. The only game that will effect Lowell is the game scheduled for 1/14 at Amherst. That will probably get changed to 1/13 (both teams have open dates).

The way I see it is the compromising the sport will eventually cost you money anyways. If they know they can roll you over then things will just get worse

There were those complaining when we weren't chosen before. I wasn't one of them

Thank god. I can't believe they're doing this again so soon, it just seems so tired and overdone.

Actually, based on past history, they should have done it this past season. The 1st game was in 2010, after that it was 2012 and then again in 2014. Or, as Shawn Hutcheon said in the Lowell Sun - "an annual event since 2010".

It is overdone though, and I am also glad that Lowell is not involved. The "fan experience" is very overrated for these games.
