    I am heading to NYC.

Supposedly I will have an early dinner at my niece's house, but I could be late.

I will be late, too. I will watch the game on CW 15 in the Troy area. I may turn on WRPI to listen to our broadcast (and find out how much delay there...).

We have reached the win or go home part of the season.
I am not ready to go home.

        lets go red!!!!!!!!

The task now has just become daunting. i have reached the stage for tonight that I just want us to play our best game of the season. if it is enough to win, then I will ask for the same tomorrow. If not, then at least i will feel we gave it everything we had left in the tank. It is an old hockey adage that the toughest game to win is the one to eliminate a team. I want us to play that type of game.

This team has been pretty resilient this year, but they look like a team that is hurting right now. I saw it in person last Saturday and again on TV last night.
Too many of our players are just not going at the same speed they were earlier. They seem to be able to go in spurts, but can't sustain it.
I would bet that Nanne, Ohrvall, Liljegren and Miller are all playing with injuries. And I don't just mean the bumps and bruises that everyone has at this time of year.
That is just the way it looks to me.
The fourth line and Bubela are the only forwards that seem to be playing at top speed. Bourbonnais also seems to be rounding into shape after his injury.
We are going to need to dig deep if we are to send this series to Sunday.

We can't come out sluggish and flaccid
If we want to play next week in Lake Placid.
                  With some grit and resolve
                  Their defense we will solve,
Let's have no need tonight for antacid!

I had similar impressions. We just seem worn down. Against different teams you often need a different approach and sometimes different aspects of talent. it was obvious we had very little speed last night both up front and especially on defense. Whatever we need for tonight, I hope we can find a way to use get it out there on the ice. This has been a fun team to watch all year and selfishly I just want more than for it to be over tonight.

And if there is a Game 3 tomorrow night, it will be broadcast locally on Channel 6.2 or on TW Cable Channel 1255. Would sure like to watch it!
