I truly think it is a train wreck. Program hasn't been successful for years.

Nepotism runs strong in that town.

In the last 6 years they have brought in 70 freshmen and only 20 of those recruits made it to their senior year amassing a 66-85-17 record. One can draw many conclusions from that statement alone.

UWS: A rich tradition, located in a hockey talent incubator, low tuition, and good facilities. Only one winning season in the last 6 years.

Thing is I think they have a lot of talent, just do not believe they are coached properly to use it. So why is it they don't stick around through their senior year? Do they get sick of it or are they blamed for the team's failure and pushed out? If pushed out, that's just wrong.

I'm curious if former Castleton head coach and Nebraska Omaha assistant Alex Todd would have interest in this now that he is no longer at UNO. He's a Midwestern guy...

Alex Todd has a pretty decent resume. Built Castleton from a doormat program into a top 15 team. Went to Nebraska Omaha and was in the Frozen Four.

                            You could find much worse.

Add in the athletic scholarships UWS hands out and the Wasps could be back into the top 5 in no time.
