Got to get back home with our point and get ready for next week's action.

I wouldn't mind seeing a win in Troy for once.

We still have two games against Maine! It's too early to be thinking about next weekend!

I realized that when I started the thread. Cornell also still has two and Union one.

Even though it's another week away I would have to say Colgate needs to have some kind of turnaround at Maine for us to have any chance of winning in the Capital District. A win or tie against Union is entirely possible
but RPI is on the cusp of the top 20 and presents a different set of challenges. We will see what transpires after the trip to Orono.

I'm not so sure. RPI plays to the level of its opponents, therefore making it its own worst enemy. I wouldn't be surprised if they play a stellar game vs. Cornell and have nothing left in the tank for Colgate.

Sort of glad we get Cornell in Troy first. i would think we would need to be rested and healthy for that game and have everyone going full tilt. Other than the one season ending injury we have, I am pretty sure we left Princeton in pretty good physical shape.

Who knows which Cornell team will show up? Beat the defending NCAA champion on a winning streak from last season one night. Lose to Ohio State (now 37th in pairwise) 0-8 the next. We do still seem to be having way too many defensive end giveaways: at least four last night despite the 3-0 win.
                  . . . still crazy after all these years. . .

Tonight, Quinnipiac beat Harvard 5-4, in OT.

Q scored 4 first period goals in a span of 5:14... with three coming in 36 seconds.
This is the second consecutive game that H has allowed at least five goals and has permitted a three goal flurry in a very short span of time.
                      Over 12,00 at MSG.

Why didn't that sieve show up in South Bend?

Well, Colgate finally earned a win against a Hockey East opponent last night. But can they build on this momentum? And is this the start of a turnaround that saves our season? We've won 2 in a row in Schenectady, but we've lost 3 in a row in Troy. We shall see what happens next weekend.

                            From today's Troy Record:

Way to go, Aspydad! Nice picture. Lots of lettuce... for the cause.

Posters, if you're available, stop by for the dinner on Thursday night at the Recovery Room (Hoosick St., Troy).

Harvard played two different goalies in these two games (BU: 5 gaa [1 en]; Q: 5 gaa, ot game).
