Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4
RPI had better come out ready to play this game. It may look like just another game in December, but it is far more than that given our start in the ECAC.
A loss tonight followed by Harvard tomorrow could be the start of a lost weekend without another ECAC game to play for more than a month.
On the other hand, a win tonight sets us up for a more confident game against Harvard and a rebound from last weeks loss.
Confidence is a fragile thing, and a lot will ride on tonight's game.
I fully expect the coach and the team to be ready and show what we are made of.
Lets go red!!!!!!!!!!!!Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4
You're 100% correct, EHF. Tonight's game could easily be one of those "looking past" games to get ready for the rematch on Saturday. Let's prove that the team was a bit tired after playing 3 times in 5 days (and Hackett playing all 3 had to take a toll on him) and go back to playing Engineer hockey.

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4
Some tidbits from Dart. GameNotes; Overall this season, the Green and White are third nationally in FO% with a 56.0%........... Expect special teams to once again play a large role this weekend as RPI (14.73) and Dartmouth (12.88) are the two most penalized teams in ECAC Hockey right now........ http://www.rpiathletics.com/document...on.pdf?id=2361Brandon Pirri: Turk would give it to Jagr. That's awesome! Jagr's untouchable. And he would give it to Jagr.

Re: Dartmouth @ RPI, 12/4
Hope to be able to at least listen to this one. Just a lot of stuff to catch up on today. Dartmouth always seems to be a surprise for us. We win when they are a great team and we lose when they seem to be beaten by everyone else. For at least today, hoping RPI comes out well early and gets a lead of a couple goals before they start giving us our usual number of penalties. If this is a special teams game (and it most likely will be) we better be able to control the faceoffs. If nowhere else, at least deep in our zone defending short handed.Take the shortest distance to the puck and arrive in ill humor
