Once again a tough conference even with only 5 teams. No AQ so it's fight every night type of atmosphere. Makes for an exciting year. GO JACKETS!

So far WIAC is boasting an 11-1-3 overall record this season. Last night the WIAC pertnear swept their matchups against MIAC teams going 4-0-1 with 3 of the 5 games going into OT. Yellowjackets played well against Augsburg and won in OT. Jackets looked a little tired on the skates, especially for a weekend opener. I will be forced to chalk it up to early season lack of conditioning.The U.P. should be the 27th star on Old Glory. -

The WIAC hasn't been quite as impressive in non conference action against the NCHA.
Looks like they are going to go 2-5-2 against the NCHA this weekend (if Stout hangs on for a win.).
